Revealing the Human Form is a new exhibition showcasing the work of renowned British sculptors including Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Jacob Epstein and Antony Gormley.

The exhibition plots a journey of sculptural expression from the early 20th century through to the present day, revealing diverse approaches to representing the human form.

We witness the innovative use of materials and movement towards abstract expression in earlier works, and then a more conceptual exploration of the human form in contemporary pieces by artists such as Sokari Douglas Camp and Rachel Whiteread.

The exhibition features 30 sculptures by 19 different artists from the Arts Council Collection and the British Council Collection. Featuring internationally renowned works never previously displayed in North Devon, this exhibition marks a significant cultural moment for the town.

The exhibition was produced in partnership with Banbury Museum and Gallery.
