Annual Schools Exhibition: handing-in days for schools announced

Handing-in days for schools are announced ahead of the hugely popular Annual Schools Exhibition

Our hugely popular Schools Exhibition opens at the end of February this year and we are looking forward to seeing what pupils of local schools have been creating! 

Teachers are asked to deliver artwork to The Burton during February half term (13 – 17 February) with a final deadline of 19^th February. Each piece must be mounted ready for display and clearly marked with the school name, and the pupil’s name and age. Submissions must also be accompanied by a handing in form – available upon request.

*** Please note that we are unable to accept individual entries. All submissions must come through a participating school.

As usual, we will do our best to include as many submissions as possible but we cannot guarantee to display everything we receive. Prizes will be awarded by the Arts Society for outstanding work and creativity by groups and individuals. We will contact schools whose pupils are selected to win a prize.

After the exhibition, work should be collected between Tuesday 28 March and Monday 3 April. After that date, for reasons of limited space, we may need to dispose of uncollected items.

The Annual Schools Exhibition runs 25 February – 24 March 2023.
