One of North Devon’s most significant development projects for many years is now calling for local artists to take part in a competition for its Public Art Commissions.
Open to local artists, both professional and amateur. If you're interested in submitting work, please read the terms and conditions and complete the entry form before bringing your work in to the gallery on Saturday 27th or Sunday 28th November.
To celebrate our 70th birthday, we commissioned a work of art from student and Bideford-born artist, Alice Guymer. Read her story here.
Be inspired by the story behind our 70th birthday biscuit commission! Biscuits from Bideford's own Biscuit Fairy are available from the gallery shop at a suggested donation price of £2.00.
Beach4Art is a new exhibition at the Jill Rousseau Gallery in Bideford. All gallery commissions will generously go towards supporting The Burton's educational work. Open 1st - 9th October.
