Applique and stitch combine giving endless possibilities to create colourful pieces of textile art. Pictures and patterns or experimental and abstract designs can be explored using a range of reclaimed and recycled fabrics. In this workshop we will make fabric panels that can be put towards the Bideford Pride Flag project here at The Burton, or taken home to display or become part of your own sewing/craft projects.

Who is this workshop for?

A workshop for adults. Beginners upwards – some hand sewing experience is preferable.

Concessionary rates, cancellations and refunds

Concessionary rates need to be booked directly through the gallery either in person or over the telephone by calling 01237 471455.

Workshops cancelled with under 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable. An Eventbrite admin fee will be automatically deducted for workshops cancelled with more than 48 hours’ notice.

Car parking

This workshop takes place at The Burton at Bideford. We are situated on the edge of Victoria Park in Bideford, next to a Torridge District Council owned car park where charges apply. For more details on parking in Bideford, visit the Torridge District Council website.
