About the Bideford Witch Trail

From 31 October 2024 you will be able to follow the Bideford Witch Trail around the town using a free map, available from The Burton, and your smartphone.

This trail is in an audio format. Look for a small panel or poster at each point shown on the map, scan the QR Code with your phone’s camera or a scanning app and it will take you through to an audio recording for that location. Press play and listen along to be transported back in time to the late 1600s and the lives of Temperance Lloyd, Susanna Edwards and Mary Trembles. You can also access these recordings on the Soundcloud website.
