Join artist Stephen Raff for an immersive full-day workshop exploring the art of cyanotype, a captivating historical printing process. Dive into its rich history and learn about the essential equipment and materials.
You will begin by preparing your own working solutions and coating your papers for use during the day. In the morning, master the basics with shadow printing on pre-coated papers and experiment with creative techniques like bleaching and toning with tea and coffee. In the afternoon, bring your personal touch to the process by creating unique masterpieces using your own coated papers and digital negatives of your photos. By the end of the day, you’ll have all the knowledge and skills needed to continue practicing cyanotype at home, along with advanced techniques to refine your craft.
