Journey Through Art is a programme for young people aged 6–13 years*. Once a month, the Burton will host workshops for this age group covering a variety of creative media and skills. Come along simply to have fun and get creative, or choose to work towards an Arts Award.
Regular participants who want to work towards an Arts Award can pick up a Journey Through Art Passport for £2 to keep a record of their hours. You can purchase your Passport online or in person from the gallery shop.

- Saturday 28 September – Create a T-shirt inspired by Gillian Ayres’ colourful, abstract paintings with Mandi McCormack
- Sunday 27 October – Halloween – Make a clay pumpkin tea light holder with Liz Wilde
- Sunday 24 November – Make Christmas decorations from recycled materials with Liz Wilde
