Join printmaker Rachel Marsh for a letterpress workshop exploring the potential of wood type to create pattern and image, inspired by the work of artists such as Hendrik Werkman and Hansjorg Mayer.
Handling and printing wood type (front and back) will give participants new insights into the visual potential of letterform, layering type, and transparency. We’ll tread the fine line between control and chance – and go on a letterpress adventure of discovery
